The match at Driffield saw Matty Gray and James Warcup hit 50 first team match appearances for Alnwick and their achievement was duly recognised with Club President Bill Thompson and First Team Captain Frank Hutchison presenting them with commemorative ties. The theme for the day was Santa's elves but unfortunately Bill left his fancy dress outfit on the bus.

They had a pint race to celebrate the occasion which ended in a dead heat, despite having the odd dribble on the chairs, however Club President Bill Thompson came a poor third and clearly needs more practice.
