Heatherhill opted to bat first and made a very credible score of 215 for 6 from their 40 overs. Kristian yet again in the runs with a well worked 41 batting at 3 before getting what he described as a 'seed' of a delivery to get him bowled 9 short of his 50. Luke yet again wasnt required to bat.

Luke did however bowl, he took 1 wicket has he trapped Rye's Number 7 LBW for 3. However he didn't fair too well as one of Luke's 7 overs went for 25. He ended with figures of 1 for 57 from 7 overs which also included 2 maiden overs. Has a fellow ginger haired cricketer (Ben Stokes) knows too well, it can happen to the best of bowlers. Unfortunately Rye got to their target with just an over to remain.

Heatherhill travel to Baden Powell on Saturday where they will be more than ready to put last weeks narrow loss well and truly behind them with a win. Luke and Kristian are both playing.
