Fantastic, it has been so easy to settle in, I am already getting a gauge of the personalities in the team and they all seem to be bouncing off each other which makes for a good team spirit. The club is so well organised which makes my job as skipper a lot easier.

What do you think if the incomings?

I believe all the new additions are great signings, Tom Glover is proven wicket taker, Lefty is class behind the sticks, Bish the Aussie is scoring runs (599 so far this season averaging 46) , but these I believe are the cement in what is an already solid foundation, for me as a new signing myself I am looking forward to seeing the lads already in place just as much as the new signings!

How has training been compared to your previous clubs winter nets?

I am not going to compare to other clubs winter nets, but what I will say is that I have been very impressed with the dedication and the turn outs so far so long may this continue.

2 months until the season begins, any expectations for the season?

Big wins, Bigger laughs, real enjoyment for the game, big points haul.

What are your thoughts on the club as a whole after meeting a majority of people?

I have been impressed with every aspect of the club so far. And am looking forward to starting my Altofts adventure.

Anything else you wish to say?

I would just like to add that I want to create an enjoyable atmosphere to play cricket and I want us to be a team from the ones all the way down to the juniors. I really do believe that if people are enjoying their cricket they will perform better on the field!
