Cameron Neild is appointed Head Coach

““I am really looking forward to coaching at AK this coming season. They have a great ethos in the Club and ambition to be the best and I wish to help them achieve their goals”.” Cameron
Altrincham Kersal RFC announce the important and exciting appointment of Cameron Neild of Sale Sharks to be Head Coach for the Club in the new season. Altrincham Kersal has made early plans to reinforce the coaching staff at the Club and pre season training starts in July. The Club first team are planning for a great season in the South Lancs and Cheshire League and aim to maintain their standing as the highest performing amateur team in south Manchester.
Cameron Neild Biography
Having played as a blind-side flanker for most of last season, Neild is preparing to make the switch to his preferred position of hooker. Now a first-team regular, he joined the Sharks academy set-up in the summer of 2013 straight from Manchester Grammar School. Having begun as a hooker, a switch to the back row marked another stage in his development but – with Steve Diamond’s support – he is now looking to nail down the number two spot. A former England Under-16 Player of the Year and Under-18 international,
Cameron has made 86 appearances for Sale Sharks.
Cameron will also work with the Minis, Juniors and Women’s team.
