Amlwch Town Ladies played their first friendly this afternoon since forming in the summer against fellow newbies Benllech Ladies.
With Lon Bach deemed unplayable, the venue was switched to the county school field and a 7-a-side format was opted for, played over three 30 minute periods.
Both sides were evenly balanced throughout the match but with five minutes of the game remaining Nicola Jones finally broke the deadlock for the Blues. Claire Jones then doubled the lead minutes later before adding a second with the last kick of the game to seal a 3-0 victory.
