Anfield v Ormskirk
First game first division ....
a tough start to the season playing last years champions., however we battled to the end. Playing in our new facilities at Wavertree Tennis Centre, Picton Road.
Both shooters were away this week so NIcky & Jo stepped up. Taking this into consideration the scoreline doesn't appear too bad and Jo was nominated as player by Ormskirk.
We also called on Kelly from our second team to help us out in defence her and Lisa a great combo in the circle and Marie in defence is so super fit she puts us to shame. Jane solid as ever as Centre kept us focused and motivated showing she is the perfect Captain as she leads by example. With Sandra also out of position you would never have guessed as she attacked that ball and fed the shooters ball after ball.
