Saints New Head Coach, Jim O'Loughlin, adds Jamie Kimpton and Steve Pilgrim to his coaching staff.

Jim O'Loughlin is delighted to announce the appointment of club stalwart Jamie Kimpton to the senior teams' coaching staff. Jamie played for Saints for over 30 years, is an experienced ex-1st XV and club captain, a qualified RFU Level II coach, and has a real desire to help put Saints on the map.

"I am thrilled to have been asked by Jim to join his senior coaching set up," says Jamie.

"I believe this is the start of a very exciting chapter in Anselmians history, on and off the pitch, and I want to play my part in helping the senior squad achieve the heights I know it is capable of."

"My coaching style of full commitment will complement Jim's attention to detail and his desire to allow the players to express themselves."

A big believer in the social side of rugby, Jamie has also offered to supply a weekly "Kimo's Curry Night" after training so that we can all enjoy a beer and curry together.

Steve "Pilly" Pilgrim, a front-row club legend, will be concentrating on tight 5 performance and conditioning and is relishing the prospect of passing on his considerable expertise and enthusiasm to our young front and middle-rowers.

Saints Director of Rugby, Jim McKenzie, commented, "It's great to see Jim (O'Loughlin) pushing on with his team management recruitment. And, with more senior player and management recruitment news to follow, the Academy and AFYA's development programme already underway, pre-season preparations have never been more advanced with the prospect of a really exciting season to follow."

Club training commences on Tuesday 5 July at 7pm sharp, followed by a BBQ. All are welcome.
