The Ducks were born in 2015, and at the time were playing in Division 5 West, the club had been going through difficult times and if it wasn’t for the lads, Anselmians 2nd Team would probably have folded.
Matt Brookes, Tom Redfearn, Martyn Brown, Chris Davies and Cam Clayton take a bow, as a group they decided to plough their own furrow, they rebelled against the Crusaders Tag and got a team out each week.
The Ducks have achieved four promotions since which is testament to their efforts, four of them still playing regularly.
Last season they played at their highest level so far and narrowly missed out on promotion in the last two weeks of the season.
