History

Antigua Cavaliers started in 1975 when a young Bill Christian and Keith Ford decided to create a team to enable expat Antiguans to play cricket in London against other loocal teams. From such early roots, Antigua Cavaliers has developed over time to embrace a wider spectrum of players and supporters, with representation from no fewer than a dozen Caribbean nationalities and a number from Africa and Asia.
Antigua Cavaliers has established a friendly rivalry with a number of local clubs but it's that with our counterparts in Leicester that is most fierce. The club's fixture with Leicester Antiguans is a home and away affair, with Cavaliers regularly taking well over 200 supporters up the M1 for what has become the most anticipated event for the club each year.
The clubs enjoys mutual partnership with the Antigua & Barbuda National Association (London).
