Another Two Exiles Pop In For A Quick Catch Up

Saturday week ago, Phil McFerran aka Ripple, accompanied Neil Workman to the pre-match luncheon and a had a great day renewing old acquaintances.
Phil is living and working in the Nottingham area and played back row/second row in the early 90's for the under 20's and 1sts.
Last Saturday, Ivan Shields made a return to the clubhouse and took in the 3rds and 4ths games. He commented it was like ground hog day seeing Cyril Stocker still playing and wearing those tight shirts.
Ivan played out-half for the 1sts in the early/mid 90's then had a serious knee injury which curtailed his playing career.
Unfortunately both gents were back in the Ards area as the result of recent family bereavements...but it was good to see them all the same.
Nice to see you chaps, hopefully we can all spend a bit more time together next time you're over.
