Pre-season: off to a flyer!

Pre-season commenced at Hamilton Park on Tuesday 14th with nearly forty in attendance to endure new Head Coach Dave Irwin’s pre-season.

A good mix of established senior players, new players and those stepping up from youth rugby were present and all enjoyed the new coach’s training.

Commenting on the first week of training Head Coach Dave Irwin said, ‘I am pleased with the numbers who attended on both nights, particularly Thursday evening when the weather was awful. Everybody seemed to enjoy the training which is vitally important, as, if a player doesn’t enjoy training they will not come back for the next session. Those who have yet to attend should get down as soon as possible or they will find themselves lagging behind.’

Pre-season continues on Tuesday and Thursdays evenings at 7pm at Hamilton Park.

New players are always welcome, just come along and introduce yourself to any of the management or coaches!
