In the morning the U18s defeated Clogher Valley and remain unbeaten thus far this season, Ards U18s are a team to watch, they have a squad of players representing the whole Ards Borough and have played together for 6 years and have improved every year, credit to the work and commitment of their coaches Ricky Sadler, Alan McHugh and Alex Hollywood.

At 230pm, the 2nds, 3rds and 4ths all played matches.

The 2nds lost to a young and well organised Queens 2nds 49 -12.

The 3rds defeated Ballymoney 35 - 3 in the Forster Cup.

The 4ths had a convincing win over Antrim 1sts, who they play again next at the same time and same place in the McCambley Cup.

Credit goes to the team managers in getting all 3 teams out, not many local teams seem able to do this.

Credit also has to go all involved in the maintenance of the pitches at Hamilton Park, particularly the evergreen Billy Dickson.
