Tonights game is against 'Sportsman', who are one of the oldest teams in the league, a team who myself took a few wickets against a few years ago with some 'very slow' right arm line and length.

Arley batted first and scored 148 with some mighty blows hit. But a brilliant catch on the boundary by a 'Sportsman' fielder who broke his glasses taking the catch. He didn't make a 'spectacle' of himself.

Gary Williams 42 and Matt Smith 66* were Arley CC's top scorers.

Sportsman were all out for 63, so we remain unbeaten.

A quiet night was had by all a few swallows, kestrels and pheasants were seen. NO WASPS.
