View plans of the proposed new joint facilities. 7 pm Thursday 7 June at the Legion

2 weeks ago By David Coackley

The rugby club are continuing to try and develop a joint new facility

The rugby club are continuing to try to develop a joint facility for 4 new changing rooms and a large social area which would be big enough to seat juniors for a meal after matches, offer tea and coffee to spectators and allow us to hold other club events.

Following discussions at the AGM we have booked the room at the legion this Thursday, 7th June in order that all members of the club can view the latest plans, understand the history of the project, ask questions and express their opinions.
The plans will be on display from 7 in the function room at the legion. Members of the project committee will give further explanation and answer questions from 8.

In addition to the feedback on the night, there will be a link on the web site linking to an RFU questionnaire. The club would like as many people as possible to use it to give their feedback both to the club ad to the RFU, who are providing significant amounts of the funding. Clearly both the club and the RFU need to be satisfied that these indicative plans enjoy widespread support within the club before proceeding.
