Year 4 Rugby Players Needed
Ashbourne Under 9 rugby team are high on quality players but a little short on numbers at the moment.
Would your son or daughter be interested in joining?
The Under 9 age group is the first year of contact rugby, however all players are introduced to this aspect of the game at a pace that suits them so that they gain confidence. Rugby is a fantastic team sport that encourages fair play, respect for officials and opponents, and a competitive but supportive environment.
This Sunday the Under 9s are playing away at Melbourne RFC and any new players are welcome to come along and sample the atmosphere. He or she can play for a while if they're keen, or wait until the following week when we will be training on Ashbourne Rec.
