The final weekend of the season saw the senior 7's on saturday and the fun/presentation day on Sunday
On saturday our tour sponsor Neil Macpherson of Macpherson Coaches attended the senior 7's and we presented him with a cheque for £600 as a donation to The Anaphylaxis Campaign our tour charity, the squad also made a donation to the Air Ambulance of £100. Thanks to all for helping and donating prizes for the raffle.
The fun day was certainly that with all attending having a real blast - thanks to Gary for taking the lead on the stocks and sponges, the introduction of new activities freshened the overall event - big thanks to the U9's team for their organisation.
We have seen some fantastic rugby this season, the introduction of the second rows and the extra centre presented no real issues and whilst disappointing to loose a few longstanding squad members to football we have welcomed many new faces and seen good numbers throughout.
The tour to Scarborough was a great success, we retained the County Shield at Coalville and the general atmosphere has been positive at all times.
Time now to reflect and plan for 2012/13, both on and off the pitch, number 8 in the scrum, a tour but where?
Looking forward to next season already!!
Well done to everybody - proud of you all
