First match for the U10s for over a month against a strong Severnside team saw us start surprisingly well.
We scored after 7 minutes after a goal mouth scramble Magee pushed the ball home from short range after good work from Ash.
2 minutes later a great strike from Sam made it 2-0 after Tommy made a couple of great challenge in midfield. Devon and Raff kept the opposition quiet and Louis got the third after 15 minutes. Ben made some good saves but we were completely in control.
At Half time the boys looked very happy but were warned the game wasn't over. Just 45 seconds into the second half we conceded and unbelievably conceded 5 more times in 15 minutes. The last 10 minutes we came back and had 3 or 4 chances to score but the game wa lost. A lesson learned hopefully.
Man Of Match Tommy

In Game 2 we played Mitchledean.
It was a very tight game and early chances went to William and Cameron who was making his debut for the club.
Louis looked safe in goal and Joe (Capt) played well at the back. Megan was outstanding in midfield and fought hard to keep the opposition from building attacks.
At Half time the score was still 0-0.
In the second half we earned a corner and Cameron took it and put the ball right in the danger zone and there was a couple of deflections and the ball was in the net with Owen claiming the goal. I couldn't be sure but eventually he convinced me.
Theodore worked tirelessly in midfield and was very strong in the tackle and Rio played some lovely passes to create some chances for us.
Sam was strong in defence and never put a foot wrong.
The game ended 1-0 to Woodies so a great win and an enjoyable game.
