Presentation Evening & Football Personality

We do our best to make the Presentation Evening as special and memorable as we can for players and spectators alike. However, you can also play a part by asking everyone to adhere to some fairly basic ‘do’ and ‘don’ts’, these are: -

It is not possible to reserve seats in the venue for the Presentation Evening. We are often asked why this is not possible, but in our experience, people do not adhere to the reserved areas and simply sit where they prefer, which causes confusion and confrontation, and can prove dangerous, spoiling the presentation for everyone.

Depending on numbers, it may be necessary to hold more than one Presentation. If so, in order to ensure there is sufficient room for all spectators, we would ask that spectators and players do not stay in the venue for more than one age groups presentation unless you have players in both categories. In all cases the venue will be cleared of all spectators between presentations. This is to give the holiday park staff time to clean the room and rearrange the chairs and table, plus set up the cups for the next presentation. I’m sure you will agree every presentation should be made special for every person.

Please ensure any rivalries between teams are left on the pitch – There should be NO HECKLING of opposition teams at any time during the Presentation Evening.

Whilst we appreciate parents will want to take photographs, we would ask that they are considerate of other spectators and do not take up permanent residence close to the stage for the duration of the Presentation.

Conduct of players and supporters

Please ensure supporters on the sidelines restrict their comments to constructive support rather than heckling or abuse of the opposition.

Racist abuse, or the like, will not be tolerated under any circumstances and therefore any such incidents by players or supporters could result in the entire team being removed from the tournament and the holiday park without refund.

It would be appreciated if you could make sure you take your litter with you at the end of each day or use the bins provided.

Catering arrangements at the pitch

In most cases, light refreshments will be available during the course of the tournament from various vendors on site. However, R & T Tours do not guarantee the availability of such catering and/or vending facilities. For the safety of all players, please do not consume alcohol at the pitch side during the tournament.

Damage Deposit Scheme

It is a regrettable yet undeniable fact that the incidences of malicious damage, anti-social behaviour and even theft during the course of the tours we organise have steadily increased over the past few years and continues to do so.

As a result, in order to retain the goodwill of the holiday parks, hotels and coach companies featured in our brochure, we have a Damage Deposit Scheme, which will apply to ALL groups travelling to ALL the destinations featured.

The Damage Deposit Scheme Operates As Follows: -

The amount of Damage Deposit is £250 per club. *Please note: For under 15 & 16 teams the damage deposit amount is £500.00.

1. In order to avoid any possible misunderstanding, we would strongly recommend that you carry out an inspection of the units or rooms allocated to your group on arrival and inform the Holiday Park immediately of any pre-existing damage and/or missing items.

2. If no such report of pre-existing damage or shortages is made to the Holiday Park on arrival, we will assume that no such pre-existing damage or shortages existed.

3. It should be noted that the Damage Deposit can and will also be used to pay compensation to other holiday makers whose holiday has been spoiled by the anti-social behaviour of any member of your group.

4. Any additional costs and/or increase in expenses incurred as a result of malicious damage and/or theft by any member of your party can and will be deducted from the Damage Deposit.

I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THE WEEKEND!
