Club members,
A committee meeting was held this Saturday (12th November). A number of items where discussed and agreed around a more general discussion as to how we can progress the club given that we now have a stable footing with regards headquarters etc.
A meeting with players will take place after both teams have returned to the Hingemakers this next Saturday (19th November) in order to explain the discussed policies.
To briefly summarise the meeting:-
•The committee has agreed to meet bi-monthly on the first Saturday of each month (so the next scheduled meeting is Saturday 3rd December) after any games played.
•The club are to actively monitor the communication and turn out for Tuesdays and Saturdays. Players will be expected to communicate their availability to improve what the club can offer with regards training and provide the Management with the respect they deserve.
•The club is to actively look at player recruitment in the near future to provide increased competition through possible advertisement at some colleges and potentially seeking some partnerships
•The club is to actively look at the work required to achieve charter status and generally provide a more professional approach to its activities
•The committee is to actively seek an elected player representative to represent players on the committee at the bi-monthly meetings. (The committee does not feel this has been taken as seriously as it will need to be in the future and thus requires confirmation of representation).
•The committee is looking to provide a solution to the current goal post situation
Whilst the committee is committed to improving the club, it should be stressed that this is your club and have as much to contribute!
The committee welcomes any contribution in making our club better and is looking to provide the policies and framework to successfully provide a high standard football and social club.
If there is anything you would like the committee to consider as a point of agenda before the next meeting please communicate this to myself or email (philiprobo at yahoo dot com).
Phil.
