Ashton U8s, 9s and 11s travelled to Rishworth for a round robin with Littleborough.
The U8s played 3 games , two v Rishies and one v Littleborough, couldnt keep up with the scores , but Tom Cardwell said he got 7 (all route one) Ben , Alfie and Jensen all scored with Joshua assisting.
Driving over snow covered Saddleworth Moor in the sleet and 2 degrees didnt bode well but Rishworth is a welcoming club down by the river Colne and the sun came out for a bit and all the players gave a good account of themselves and warmed the hearts of the supporters, well done to all involved
The U9s players all got tries and the U11s havent reported yet.
Griff was back coaching the U16s to great win Isaac 1, Jake Calaghan 2, Charlie Mc Callum 2 Callum Taylor 4 with two Cons from Dom.
I was great to get 5 teams out and play good rugby with some brilliant performances, thanks to all who made it happen.
