The first half was tough into the wind against the league leaders away with their firsts not playing.
George Guerin made a lovely break for the try from stand off and Ryan Riedsma converted. Jack Pietsch made his debut in a MOM performance at centre, also made a fine break making 50m only to be hauled down 10 m short of the line. The second half got tougher as our hosts strengthened an already strong side and blew us away.
Ashton U15s got an away walk over at Widnes in their Lancs CUP game.
Ashton U12s traveled to Huddersfield putting up a spirited performance losing 12-4 report to follow.
Ashton U10s played Littleborough winning with tries from Kendal Grayson 3, Kayden Murray 3,Oliver Rigby 2, Liam Quinlan 2, Josh Williams and William Mc Callum.
Ashton U7sand 8s had the morning off.
Ashton Colts traveled to Rossendale playing on the first team pitch was just what the Doctor ordered and scored 6 tries in a good open contest, retaining top spot by 2 pts as second placed Kendal lost at home to resurgent Bolton, this sets up Sundays game with Tarleton who move into second. This is the Colts last home league game of the season, lets get as many supporters down to watch this as possible.
