Colts win v Pt Sunlight both teams weakened sides

Ashtons Juniors U11s,U13s&U15S all faced top opposition in Manchester, Bowden and Ormskirk away without a win, despite U11s losing 10-5 in 2 games.

The league decider for the U15s was a loss away to Ormskirk whose greater numbers ground Ashton down in the second half, leaving them finishing a very creditable second in the table and going into the Plate competition.
Ashton U13s also suffered an away defeat 44-7 to Manchester with a great second half performance culminating in a try for Jae Parkinson converted by Lewis Williams.Finishing 3rd in the league will also see the U13s go into the Lancs Blacksticks Blue Plate competition.
Andy Smith, Ged Turner and Matt Tallents took their U11s for A round robin with Manchester and Bowden squads going down 10-5 in these shortened games with tries from Tom Gibson.
Well played to all teams it was great to get back to Rugby.
