Charter Standard Adult Club

In April 2011 Ashton United received the Charter Standard Adult Club Award. At the time of the award, Andy Basterfield, Senior Football Development Officer for Manchester County Football Association commented 'the FA Charter Standard award acknowledges the excellent support that Ashton United is providing within the local community and its efforts to provide opportunities for players to develop their skills and play football in a safe and positive environment'.

The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

The club continues to maintain its Charter Standard Status
