Tough Cup Tie ahead but silverware on offer at the business end of the competition. Cup preview by Joel Sanderson-Murray.

Ashton United’s league season may not have anything riding on it for the
remainder of the campaign but The Robins have a chance to book their place in
the semi-final of the Integro League Cup on Tuesday night.
There is still something for joint managers Jody Banim and Will Haining to gain out of
their first season as bosses, but they must overcome the tough challenge of First
Division North side Bamber Bridge away on Tuesday if they are to reach the last four of the competition.
United have overcome Warrington Town, Northwich Victoria and Farsley Celtic to reach the quarter final stage of the competition. Bamber Bridge FC, located in Preston, are currently sat in 11th position in their league with 49 points from 35 games, in a similar standing to Ashton United in their league.
Their run to this stage of the cup has seen the team take the scalp of Premier Division
side Marine, as well as beating Glossop North End and Burscough.
With the league season playing out towards a mid table finish this represents a huge
opportunity for some cup success for both Ashton United and Bamber Bridge which makes for a very intriguing tie.
