This fixture promises to be an absolute belter with the winners taking back top spot in the Evo-Stik Premier League. Just three weeks ago the Mariners came to Hurst Cross an ran out 0-2 winners in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying round, a result which was hard to take given the Robins early league form. The confidence will be back now following a terrific performance & result at Witton Albion on Saturday with two fine goals to take the 3 points away from home.
Revenge is a dish best served sweet and the Robins will want to make amends for their FA Cup exit by continuing on from their solid display at Wincham Park. Goals from Chris Baguley & Tom Baker capped a fine display from the Robins & ended a spell of bad results & put them back into 3rd in the league.
There’s not much football on the box this Wednesday as there are international matches later in the week, so why not make a change to your mid-week routine and get yourself down to Hurst Cross & support your local team?
