Ashton United will embark on a long trip to face Kidderminster Harriers this weekend as the Robins look to continue their unbeaten start to the league season.

Jody Banim’s men have one draw and one win from two matches but know that they will face a tough test against Kidderminster, who have also not lost this season.

After starting the season with two draws, Banim knows that their opponents will push hard for their first three points of the season, meaning the Robins will need to be at their best to come away with the points.

The Robins are currently sitting in seventh place in the league table after a thrilling 3-4 victory over FC United of Manchester in their last fixture.

Banim wants his players to show the same fight and determination once again. He said:

“Every single point we acquire from now until the end of the season could be massive, that’s what my teams are all about – they never know when they’re beaten, and they’ll fight for every ball.”
