It's been another rollercoaster ride at Hurst Cross over the last ten years. There have been many notable highs including the club's first foray into the UniBond League Premier Division, the trio of Manchester Premier Cups in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and the club becoming, albeit shortlived, inaugural members of the very first Conference North division line-up.
The official forum is inviting fans to vote for the players who they feel made the most impact in the last ten years as part of the Ashtonutd.com 'team of the decade'. This is to be published alongside a review of the decade on New Year's Eve.
Maybe you remember the way Scott Green could light up the field of play or the goals of the likes or Phil Denney, Jamie Miller and Ciaran Kilheeney. Maybe you feel that the defensive talents of Andy Thackaray, Darren Royle or Paul Clowes deserve recognition. Maybe you want to vote for somebody who hasn't yet been given the recognition you feel that they deserve!
