1st XV lose narrowly to Wigan
The 1s lose out 11-15 in a tight game against Wigan who score winning try with last play of the game.
Real frustration for the 1s who lead for most of the game with two penalties from Mike Mills and a try from Dave Tyson only to lose when Wigan were allowed to breakaway from their own half to score in the corner with no time left for Ashton to reply. The 2s also lose narrowly away at Wigan 2s while the 3s compete well at home against Wilmslow 4s with a young side but lose out 6-17.
