The under 13's quest for silverwear over after semi final defeat at Lymm
It was always going to be a tough ask for the Boys away at Lymm, but a poor first half performance ended their cup participation for this year.

Ashton paid the price for an abysmal first half performance in this semi final. In the opening 20 minutes, the hosts were first to the breakdown, ran with purpose and tackled well, scoring six unanswered tries. Ashton looked sluggish and disinterested but the Lads showed real fight in the second half. Josh kicked well as the penalty count mounted against Lymm. Seb and the Ashton forwards competed tigerishly and the backs found space to run. In truth, Ashton should have won the second half having more possession and territory, but it was academic after the one sided first half.
