The best way to keep up to date with Ash United Football Club

Last home league game of the season

1 year ago By Steve Cottingham

Easter Saturday, 15 April, ASH UTD vs BALHAM, 3pm KO, Covers Stadium

The first team had a good win at Cove on Wednesday. With the score at 1-0 to Cove at half-time, The Green Army stormed back and won the game with goals from NEIL HARDY and LUKE CAIRNS.

Now the team faces BALHAM in the final CCFL Division One home game on Saturday 15 April. Our visitors still have an outside chance of taking the third promotion slot, to deny current third placed Chessington & Hook United. Rather than being an end-of-season-nothing-really-to-play-for game, this one does have appeal. Balham need to win all of their remaining 3 games, because snapping at their heals are Bagshot and AC London, both of whom could also snatch the final promotion slot.

The game kicks-off at 3pm. Free car parking. Hot food and drinks from the canteen. Bar with TV. Admission £5 adults; £3 concesssions and Military; under 12's go free.
