Fight back not enough
Neil Hardy goal is the highlight for Ash United
Ash United came up against a resurgent AC London, whose results at the start of the season were not as good as last season. However, AC London were still too strong for Ash United. Two first half goals separated the teams, with AC London scoring on 12 minutes and then again on 38 minutes.
It was to be another Ash game of quite literally "two halves". A poor home side performance in the first half was replaced with a much better one throughout the second half. A goal on 74 minutes from Neil Hardy galvanised that better second half performance and despite a fair bit of time allowed before the final whilstle, AC London were effectively pegged back. But it was not to be another last minute rescue job and the three points went north with AC London.
