My thoughts exactly! I see where the league are coming from in the fact that the system could be open to abuse if clubs could call games off on a regular basis before the match day.
But why on earth they cannot make exceptions when the conditions are so obviously going to stop a match taking place is beyond me.
Surely, with photographic evidence as well as getting a referee to inspect the day before in situations like this would be more sensible for reasons that you have stated above.
