We are once again running the near legendary Prediction League this season. In honour of the late David Etherden the League is being renamed ‘The Ethers Prediction League’.

As well as being a leading administrator of Keswick RUFC, David was a well-loved pundit in league circles and his ‘Friday Night’ ravings will long be remembered.

The league is simple and everyone is welcome to have a go and/or leave comments on games or just rugby in general. Particularly welcome is news from clubs in the North Lancs and Cumbria league but other than this many varied topics have been covered such as “Do we need a coach, if we can reach Eccles by canal?”. I think you get the drift.

In this year’s league we will have all the favourites such as the Round 8 Theory, Death Row Watch and of course plenty of World Cup and guest games to keep interest levels high.

Fixtures for Saturday 5th September will go live on Friday 21st August and with them will be a brief explanation of the very few rules that apply.
