I hope everyone enjoyed that brief spell of fine weather whilst it lasted? This Sunday - 22nd May - we will be holding the usual end of season kids v parents fixture at the club. 10:30 start.

Everyone is welcome, all kids, all mums and all dads. All you need are some training shoes and a sense of humour. I hope to see you all there - taking part! The more that take part, the more fun we have.

Even if you can't take part, please take the opportunity to come down and put your name against some food on the buffet list for presentation night - Friday 17th June. I'm aware that not many will have had the opportunity, so far, to do so with the club being closed.

I'm sure you will already have Friday 17th June in your diaries for the presentation night. Whilst we have enabled everyone to pay for their tickets on the evening this year, it would greatly help us if you could let me know how many people from each family will be attending so that we can prepare accordingly.

Finally, the morning after our presentation evening, (Sat 18th June)' is the clubs annual volunteers days, where we ask everyone to spare a few hours to come down and help us to carry out several minor cleaning, painting and general maintenance activities in and around the club property.

All available hands will be welcomed. See the club website for full details, but the day starts from 9am and jobs will be assigned upon arrival. I'm proud to say that our very own concreting work on the juniors container is still in place and has definitely prolonged the life of our storage unit considerably - largely thanks to the expert guidance of Mr Stephenson.
