If ever there was a feel good story then the sight of the Burundi based XIII des Hirondelles team clad in an Aspatria Hornets' kit that the club donated to help and support the development of rugby league overseas is it.

Henry Crossman led the initiative and alerted the rest of the club to the superb photographs on the Burundi Rugby League Facebook page.

We will be keeping an eye on how they get on and we wish the XIII des Hirondelles the best of luck in their season.

A thank you also to Mike Bain who arranged for free delivery of the kit to Liverpool on the first stage of its journey to Africa.
