Aspatria will be looking to bounce back from last Saturday's defeat by Lowca in the opening round of 2012. Their opponents this week are Flimby who recorded an impressive win against Clifton Lions, 22-18.
The home side are still lacking some key personnel but the squad remains largely unchanged from that of last week except for the straight swap between the impressive Mark Irwin (unavailable due to a boxing match) and veteran Craig Hamilton who returns from a ban.
Flimby are somewhat of an unknown quantity as they played in Group B in the truncated season. Since Group B was comprised of the bottom few 1st Division clubs and the top 2nd Division ones, it can be taken as read that they will be a useful and dangerous side. The Hornets will have to be on top of their game if they are to have a chance of taking the two points.
The game kicks off at 2pm at ASPATRIA RUFC.
