With the centenary of the Great War currently being commemorated, it is timely to remember the 123 Aston Old Edwardians who made the ultimate sacrifice
Whilst their names are recorded on a memorial at the School and wreaths laid every Remembrance Sunday at Parry Common, little was actually known about the individuals themselves.
Glyn Brazell & Ian Wood have remedied this by researching each of the 123 AOEs and have produced a 260 page book which provides details of their family, school and military lives.
Copies can be obtained for just £10 (plus £2p&p if required) by contacting Glyn at glyn_brazell@hotmail.com, or on 07931 526189 or by speaking to him at the Club.
All profits from the sale of books are being donated to the School.
