Defibrillator Device

The rugby club has installed a defibrillator device behind the bar. This has largely been funded by a grant from North Midlands RFU.

In the event of the device been required, no training is needed in order to use it. The device has both visual and audio outputs to guide the user.

There is a video here for viewing. An appreciation of CPR is also suggested for follow up if the device is used.

A weekly check of the device is required which involves initiating (pressing a button) a self checking sequence. The check will then be reported via the WebNos website. The overall management of the defibrillator is managed by Community HeartBeat Trust, www.communityheartbeat.org.uk.
