As many of you will be aware, last Saturday was Hannah's last game for AOE as our physiotherapist.

Having been at the Club for 3 years, Hannah has never failed to impress us with her professionalism and ability as a physio - and has been instrumental in ensuring that players have returned to playing fitness as soon as possible after injury.

As well as tending to injured players from all sides, and often including the opposition on match days, we have lost count of the number of Saturday nights that Hannah has spent at Good Hope with players who have required additional treatment. Hannah has also extended her skills to include stitching and accupuncture to assist her treatment of players, and again a number of players have directly benefitted from this.

In addition to her physio duties, Hannah has also taken up a position on the Rugby Club Committee, where she has been responsible for some very successful raffles and club draws, as well as co-ordinating (along with parents John & Lorraine) the provision of club merchandise.

Hannah has also been responsible for some of the updating of the website on a weekly basis, helped to prepare some of the funding bids that we are looking to submit as well as being a supporter of all of the other activities the Club have been involved with.

Hannah is looking to extend her rugby experience elsewhere, and will also be assisting with the Greater Birmingham sides this year. We wish her every success in her future career, thank her for everything that she has done to assist the Club - and we know that she will be a huge loss to Aston Old Edwardians.

Can someone please enlighten me as to what is going on back scenes at the club that has resulted in one of the most dedicated members of the squad over the past few years packing up and leaving mid season?

Although results havent gone our way this side of the New Year there is still a good team buzz and as far as I can see there have been no issues what so ever on the field and matchday with Hannah and the rest of the playing squad. That must mean there is some stuff going on back scenes that we, as players, are unaware of and I for one would like to know what.

Having said that, Id like to say thanks to Hannah she has been brilliant these past seasons. Good luck where ever you end up (which I believe is Old Salts you Old Wench!!)

Taity, I understand what you mean I think the AGM may be a bit fruity this year.

I'm not a great fan of politics and all that and like to stay well clear, but, Hannah was a great physio, she always had time for every player and would have a line of 5+ people waiting outside the physio room and would always help every single one as best she could. I saw that on certain game days she was running around the pitch/pitches quicker than i was! Got to agree with Taity, what ever has gone on behind closed doors has happened and thats that, but personally i think the club has lost a great physio as well as a good person to have around.

Best of luck Hannah, drinks after the Salts game!!!!!

    Very Many Thanks Hanna.

Whenever the 4ths have needed help you’ve always been there, no question – from strapping up a badly cut finger to holding Kieron’s head still for forty-odd minutes in the freezing cold, waiting for an ambulance to arrive!

We wish you all the very best wherever you go, and whatever you find yourself doing.

    The Fouth Team Lads.
