Have you noticed how good the pitches are looking?

As with many areas of the club it doesn't happen by accident.The grass has been managed really well by Derek Coles, Pat Tarpey and the Association.

Pitch marking has been done expertly using the services of civil engineers, Mike Dugmore and Sam Grundy supporting Mike Chant and the team is led by Andy Hart (so he thinks).

Andy tells me he really enjoys the fresh air and the sense of achievement once it is finished. Therefore he would like to invite others to join him and share the experience. He is also hoping to develop apprentices to ensure pitch management for many years to come. Please contact Andy if you feel you can help.
