Strange but true!!

Heard today that Burntwood travelled to Bishops Castle and Onny Valley for their final league game of the season on 24th April, only to find that the parched pitch was declared unplayable. Following an urgent call to the League secretary, it was decided that as there were no promotion/relegation issues at stake, a 0 - 0 result would be recorded and everyone went home!!

The cows that normally graze on the pitch must have overdone it somewhat!!
