All at Athersley Rec are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Nick Bedford on Sunday Evening. Our heart felt condolences go out to all his family and friends.

Next TUESDAY 10TH November North Gawber play their biggest game down at our ground at Athersley Rec in the Sheffield Cup 7:45 Kick Off after the tragic passing away of their manager beddy.

Volunteers from Gawber will be going round with collection buckets to raise money towards his funeral. We invite everyone in Barnsley to come down and help in anyway they can.

Lets try and get a big crowd down for them and hopefully raise plenty of cash to help with the funeral.
