O'Sullivan strikes again, and again, and again.........

Wanderers came into the game unbeaten after taking all 3 points in last weeks game against Kiwi True Blues.

The Canoes' made two changes to the team that drew with Zamantix last week

First half

Both teams started the game with a number of long balls over the top, Wanderers managing to get in behind early on but unable to test the Volcanoes keeper.
As the teams started to put some passes together, it was the Volcanoes who found themselves with the first real opportunity.

Dave Fisher out wide played a ball through which was latched onto by Rory O'Sullivan, an offside call was dismissed by the ref and Rory found himself one on one with the keeper and didn't let the opportunity pass

A long ball up field from Rhys Lawrey wasn’t dealt with by the Wanderers defense, once again Rory O'Sullivan was there to pounce on the loose ball, one on one again to tucked away his second of the day.

Wanderers won a free kick about 25 yard out and Volcanoes set up with a 5 man wall. The free kick was then superbly bent around the wall heading straight for the bottom corner................. until Rhys Lawery pulled off a world class to his bottom right, parrying the shot onto the post and out for a corner.

Second half
Wanderers came out second half fast and were clearly looking for an early goal to get back into the game..
They came close twice, hitting the bar after a corner wasn’t cleared and were denied once again by another quality Rhys Lawrey save.

Some good work out wide by Bobby Collins saw him jinx past two players before picking out Rory O’Sullivan in the box, with his back to goal Rory quickly turned and slotted away for his hat trick.
