After a mostly dry day yesterday and indications from within the club that the pitch was ok, the rain couldn't hold off long enough for the match to go ahead.
That now means that Aveley have, excluding today, 73 days to fit in 22 league fixtures before April 26th when they play Waltham Abbey at Mill Field.
The rearranged date for the trip to Maldon has been set already with the two sides facing each other on Tuesday the 15th of April, which was our final available midweek.
The Millers' next scheduled league game is this Saturday, the 15th of February, at home to high-flying Soham Town Rangers.
