We were looking for a club photographer for quite a while at Mill Field and after being interested last week, we are delighted to announce that Claire now joins us at Aveley.

Upon joining the Millers, Claire had this to say about why she has joined the club and her aims and predictions for the upcoming season.

"I am really pleased to be appointed as club photographer at Aveley FC. Having had to give up playing due to injury a few seasons ago I found myself still wanting to be involved in the game. So I combined my love of photography with my passion for football."

"Last season I started my own blog and took my camera to several local matches capturing images for whichever teams would ask! From there, I began writing match reports and ended the season covering two cup Finals."

"I share my blog via Social media and am active on Twitter and Facebook so wanted to become more involved in the media aspects of a football club and continue to develop my skills and share my images. Luckily for me Aveley were still looking for someone!"

Claire is also looking forward for the upcoming season to get started so she can begun getting really involved on all aspects with the club.

"I'm looking forward to all aspects of club photography from match days and team shoots to following the new ground constructions at Belhus."

"Having lived in Thurrock most of my life, I'm really excited about the opportunity to be involved in promoting a local club and capturing some great memories along the way!!"
