AFC Sudbury finished 3rd place last season and we look into what they can offer the Ryman North in the 2015/16 campaign.

Manager- Jamie Godbold
Key Player- Sam Clarke
Last Season Finish- 3rd (Ryman North)

Who are they?
A.F.C. Sudbury is an English semi-professional football club from Sudbury, Suffolk. The club was formed in 1999 by the merger of Sudbury Town and Sudbury Wanderers, the process giving rise to the name Amalgamated Football Club Sudbury. A.F.C. Sudbury won the Eastern Counties League Premier Division five seasons in a row and reached the final of the FA Vase three years in a row, both records for the respective competitions. Their home ground is the King's Marsh Stadium in the Ballingdon-Brundon area of Sudbury, and their home colours are yellow and blue. The club compete in the Isthmian League Division One North, having been transferred from the Southern Football League Division One Midlands after the end of the 2009–10 season.Sudbury's first team manager is currently Jamie Godbold.

Up to much last season?
AFC Sudbury were superb last season and only lost to the same team twice once, which was Aveley, both 3-0. They had one of the best defences in the league and with that had good, experienced strikers which helped them up the league table. They only finished behind Needham Market and Harlow Town in 3rd position and into the playoffs. After a gruelling 120 minutes they lost on penalties to Brentwood Town.

Whose in charge?
AFC Sudbury recently announced that their current management team of Jamie Godbold and Andy Reynolds have agreed two year deals to remain with the club. They both made big impressions on both the players and supporters since their arrival in January this year. It ended in a fantastic season finishing in third place and making the play-offs, but then missing out by losing on penalties to Brentwood Town.

Stand Out Player?-
Club captain Sam Clarke is one of the main cogs in the AFC Sudbury wheel. He recently signed a new deal which keeps him at the club until the end of the season as he comes back to add to his 285 club appearances and try to get the elusive 376 record of appearances which is held by Paul Betson.
