They were relegated last season, will they be the team to bounce straight back?

Manager- Gary Kimble
Last Seasons Finish- 22nd (Ryman Premier League)

Who are they?
Clubs named Witham Town have been in existence since the mid 19th century with the original club being disbanded in 1914 due to World War I.

In 1971 they were founder members of the Essex Senior League, and were its inaugural champions

In 2013 Witham Town FC have started up Youth Football. They are currently being placed into the Blackwater and Dengie League. They have an Under 8's and Under 10's and hope to grow from that with other age groups over the coming years.

On 4 May 2014, they sealed promotion to the Isthmian League Premier division after a 3–0 win at home against Harlow Town.

Kimble unfinished business?
Manager Garry Kimble believes there is still 'unfinished business' to take care of at Witham Town after the club stuck with him despite their relegation from the Ryman Premier.

In his five years at Spa Road Kimble has taken them from the Essex Senior League to the Ryman Premier, but their debut season in that division proved shortlived.

feel a part of the furniture and I don't really want to walk away from Witham because there's unfinished business to do and hopefully we can move the club forward.

"I'm all about loyalty and I don't jump at the first opportunity that comes to me because I feel very at ease at the football club and they've backed me from day one.

What happened last season?
Witham Town had a season to forget last season as they finished third from bottom with just Bury Town and AFC Hornchurch finishing below them. There was talk of a reprieve awarded to them but in the end they were officially relegated to the Ryman North.

Aims for this season?
The manager has set the target of just consolidating this season but with the squad they have and the ambition and talented manager they really should be challenging to bounce straight back up this season.

U-turn for fans favourite?
In what was documented as a dramatic twist, in the last 48 hours Danny Emmanuel has rejected terms at Maldonado &Tiptree and has resigned for Witham town.

Witham Town boss Garry Kimble has kept his cards close to his chest keeping business in house and has managed to keep a good asset at the football club. Witham thought the deal had been done with the Jammers but an apparent 'change of heart' from Danny Emmanuel saw him phone Gary Kimble out of the blue, and after a quick get together the deal was done and fans favourite Emmanuel will be back in a town shirt next season.
