Round up of results and what they mean for the league table from the weekends results

AFC Sudbury 1-0 Heybridge Swifts-
Sudbury squeak through a tough test as the only difference in the game came on the 69th minute as Craig Parker's goal gave the hosts all three points.

A fantastic three points for Sudbury, the top five all won and it was important that they won that game as they stay in third place having played 37 games with 71 points. Sudbury are seven points clear of Thurrock, but Fleet have a game in hand.

The swifts have been in superb form in recent matches despite this set back they sit in 16th position and are 9 points clear of Romford in 22nd.

Barkingside 0-5 Waltham Abbey-
A costly defeat for 'Side as they slip to a 5-0 defeat by impressive midtable side Waltham Abbey.

Barkingside now level on points with 22nd place Romford, but have a better goal goal difference by one goal. However Barkinside do have three games in hand so will hope to pull away from the drop with a win from games remaining.

Waltham Abbey however show what their season might have been if they had more consistency. A fantastic 5-0 win at a team fighting for their lives, and four goals alone by Jason Mallett puts Waltham Abbey in 13th place with three games in hand on everyone around them.

Burnham Ramblers 2-3 Brightlingsea Regent-
The Ramblers put in another spirited display but unfortunately it is too little too late as they are 17 points off safety with 9 games left, but having played 37 and clubs above them have played; 34, 36, 33. It looks like the Ramblers fate has already been sealed.

For Brightlingsea, their playoffs chances are still there, they remain seven points off fifth placed Wroxham and really they will need to win every single game until the end of the season if they stand a chance of clinching the playoffs and caping a fantastic season for the Ryman North new boys.

Cheshunt 1-1 Cray Wanderers-
Cheshunt gain another point towards their survival in the Ryman North. They sit in 18th with 38 points from 37 games. Four points clear of the bottom three, another two/three wins should be enough for Cheshunt to stay in the Ryman North.

For Cray they look like they could be down, they do have four games in hand on Chatham in 20th, and if they win all those games in hand they will be 3 points away from fellow Kent Side in their battle for survival.

Harlow 3-1 Aveley-
The Hawks' title hunt continues as they stay neck and neck with Needham Market who they meet on the second last game of the season. The Hawks have also more or less confirmed their play off spot as they sit 20 points clear of sixth placed Thurrock.

For the Millers however, sitting 13 points off fifth placed for the play offs and only 30 points left available Aveley's hopes of the playoffs could well be over.

Maldon & Tiptree 1-2 Brentwood-
A superb grinding win again for Brentwood, they have three games in hand on second place Harlow Town and if Brentwood can win all three they could go 5 points off the Hawks. Brentwood also sit six points clear of Fleet.

Maldon & Tiptree on the other hand have steered themselves to safety and now sit 10 points clear of the bottom three.

Needham Market 2-0 Soham Town Rangers-
Needham's win was an important one as they have to match or better second placed Harlow a Town in order to win the league. Needham are two points clear of the Hawks with a game in hand.

Soham however are now 15 points off the playoffs with only 27 points on offer left for Soham to win, unless everyone 4th placed to 9th all drop points, Soham's playoff hopes are over.

Romford 3-1 Chatham Town-
A superb win for Boro which keeps their survival chances alive. Romford also Aveley's next opponents followed by another tough game against Wroxham. Romford are now level on points with Barkinside but Side have three matches in hand.

Chatham however seem to be slipping into a relegation fight and having played five games more then Barkinside and two more then Romford, the Chats are right in the fight for survival. They are in 20th with 37 points from 38 matches.

Thamesmead 2-2 Thurrock-
A win was a must for Thurrock but they however would in hindsight see this as a point gained as they rescued a late draw five minutes from time. But due to the top five all winning they are now four points off of Wroxham in fifth.

Thamesmead however have started positively under new management and sit in a comfortable 14th place with 45 points from 37 games.

Tilbury 0-0 Great Wakering-
Good result for the visitors after being down to ten men during the game, they have had a very solid season so far but would like to top that off with securing their safety in the Ryman North. Wakering sit in 17th position and are four points clear of a Romford level on number of games.

Tilbury have been superb and one of the form team since the turn of the year. The dockers resurgence up the league table has them in comfortable mid-table with 50 points from 37 games.

Ware 1-1 Redbridge-
Ware's play off chances took a massive hit as they could only draw against ten man Redbridge. Ware looked favourited to claim one of the play off spots at the beginning of the season but now find themselves 10 points off fifth place.

The motormen however find themselves in the same situation as Great Wakering, Redbridge have played 36 games and have 38 points.

Wroxham 3-1 Dereham Town
Wroxham with a superb three points in the Norfolk Derby to keep the Yachtsmen in the play off spaces and also due to a thurrock drawing the gap between fifth and sixth to four points.

Dereham on the other hand really needed to get a positive result from this game but instead move further away from the playoffs. Dereham now sit in seventh with 64 points and sit four points off Wroxham, but also have played a game more.
