Aveley Football Club are delighted to announce the signings of six players.

The six signings we can confirm are; Billy Coyne, Perry Dunn, James Marrable, Michael Pindy, Arian Retkoceri and Abs Seymour. All have committed for the 2016/17 season.

James Marrable, goalkeeper, is a fans favourite, having won supporters player of the season the last two years. At Aveley in his first spell he also helped the Millers achieve promotion to the Ryman Premier League. Having signed on he set for his third successive season at Mill Field between the sticks.

Billy Coyne, defender/midfielder. He was with the cub through large parts of the 2014/15 season and then the last few months of last season since returning from AFC Hornchurch, as we all know is very accomplished at right back and also has the ability playing in midfield.

Abs Seymour, a combative player who won Players player and Managers player of the year for 2015/16. Having joined from Romford last season, he impressed with his tackling ability and crossing abilities with 12 assists in 47 appearances.

Perry Dunn, centre half. A towering defender who didn't get off to the best of starts at the club at the beginning of last season, however in his second spell he came back and forged a superb partnership with Brian Okwera in which helped keep four clean sheets in the last 6 matches. And also pitched in with three goals, one coming against AFC Hornchurch in a 2-1 victory in March.

Michael Pindy, a rapid player who impressed with his explosive pace getting in behind and unlocking defences. He impressed against us for Waltham Abbey and then joined the Millers scoring on his debut last season away at Ryman North Champions AFC Sudbury with a header.

Arian Retkoceri, central midfielder. He missed the start of the season due to an injury but came back and showed again how good he is on the ball. He was then ever-present in the side making 28 appearances and contributing to 8 goals. His previous clubs include; Stevenage Borough, Billericay Town and Waltham Forest.

Millers boss Justin Gardner was pleased to get these players signed to the club. "I'm very pleased to have got these lads signed. Terms have been agreed with a few other who will be announced in due course."

Avelely FC would like to welcome back these players and wish them all the best for the upcoming season at Mill Field.
