The boss on his squad so far

Terry Spillane has his say on the transfer window and the preparation that has taken place in the build up to what will be an exciting 2017/18

"We have managed to keep the majority of the squad that we re-built last season and that was something we were really keen to do.

For most of the boys this will be their second season together which will be invaluable over the coming months.

Obviously we have added to that and we've signed some very good players.

We have been very selective in the kind of player we've signed and we've had to be very patient in waiting for some of our targets to become available.

We've gone for players who have character and leadership qualities as well as the necessary skills etc. We start in a few weeks and I cannot wait to get going."

Millers pre-season gets underway on the 24th of June and friendlies will start soon after that as we prepare ourselves for our debut season at Parkside in an open and what will be a hotly contested Isthmian North.
